(Just for context, when I last talked to some of the folks working on Components one of the big motivations for multithreading was text layout with non-English languages.)
Fairly :-1: on LevelDB right now. There's a lot of evidence that suggests LevelDB isn't quite mature. Another one to look at might be [LMDB](http://symas.com/mdb/).
This has been partially addressed by 4a50b1952ab17d4a8e9bbfa242ea2c032c6d8d92, but: - The API isn't public yet. - It hasn't been tested thoroughly. - Trimming might be something users would want to customize....
`-trim:` is now public and functionally complete as of https://github.com/joshaber/Freezer/commit/cd688e2b7640890f6bd6daf1d0fbd32485f80a35. It'd be great to provide more customization in the future.
It'd also be nice if `-trim:` could make some safety guarantees, i.e., no open databases.
`markViewBeingUsedForInertialScrolling` is used to ensure that we don't remove views that are being use for inertial scrolling. Presumably inertial scrolling will be broken on your list now? Are you using...

No 😞 IIRC in talking with @nathansobo the consensus seemed to be that it's related to `apm` using an old version of `npm`.
