Using new SDK now.

Not a blocker for 0.5.0, but it would be nice to tackle at least some of these so I will leave this on the 0.5.0 milestone for now.

It certainly helps a lot! I think with a new configcli repo we have an opportunity to capture some stuff in the readme and/or wiki there.

Right, this copy is only done if persistent storage is configured. For directories that need to have changes persist across pod restarts, those directories need to be mounted on persistent...

Saurabh, I'm parking this on with you for now since Om Katthar doesn't have an active account here now. If you don't know who the right person to tackle this...

We should be as specific as we can for any persisted directories yeah. Unfortunately changing the defaultPersistDirs will probably require updates in various apps and is in general a non-backwards-compatible...

We should see now whether cr-app-elk771 can be moved to the new storage layout.

@Jemgoss did configcli work to make it support python3. He and @kcsraju might know if we have remaining roadblocks?

We should at least ponder this for 0.3.
