In the wiki python2 is stated as a pre-req for KD:

Images must have the following utilities installed and available in the standard executables path for the container user: bash, python2, curl, and tar.

As python2 is no longer supported, can python3 be used?

@Jemgoss did configcli work to make it support python3. He and @kcsraju might know if we have remaining roadblocks?
