I never managed to get hardware acceleration working, the Chromebook 11 only has OpenGLES which seriously reduces what we can do, it's unfortunate the drivers never really worked ..
Would using a actual real life canary be a possibility ?
Second this, I'm trying to make connections and it simply won't work ..

@Sanglierdomestique I tried fiddling but still couldn't get it working :( I'm going to try and run the full firmware instead of just RW_LEGACY
I saw this was removed from the 2.1 milestone, has anyonOn SWANKY with an older version of MrChromebox's RW_Legacy I need to do the following steps every time it wakes...
Can confirm this issue. Easily reproducible : run any app that requires duplex and the sound is garbled and broken.

I fear the issue with this would be performance, as gnome shell performs poorly with large complex menus
