Yes, the current solution is the simplest possible but avoids i18n issues. If you can suggest a layout for the above example which can be readily translated I'll implement it.
There is a default title applied in the code but it is not appearing for some reason - investigating.
I can no longer reproduce this on the latest release of elementary 8.
