I finally got a chance to try CAP_PROP_BUFFERSIZE as you suggested. It *did* actually help - but it only got the lag down to 4 seconds, which is still unusable.

I'm also seeing the problem described here, with both 14.06 and 14.07 - the button always says "Print", and the first option in its right-click menu is "Print with COM26",...
