I am also having the issue. Works good in tf files, doesn't work in tfvars.

Fix: download country_grid.sql.gz from nominatim.org

Performance Improvement Plan

I just installed v2.28.2023091812 There is huge improvements in file save time. CPU usage still too high, about same level, but at least I don't want 5 mins or more...
