Why would Apod care if a podcast fail or not? It should add all the podcasts in an opml because this is what the user wants when importing an opml....

I find evince to be super slow with image pdfs. Try browsing pdfs from archive.org you will see what I mean. Zathura is a better pdf viewer.

You can check Koreader for how such thing might work except that Koreader is pretty shitty on Android but works great on other devices.
