@timtroendle any plans to make this data available? Publishing those rasters (or even better, the raster-making process) would be great. With a couple alterations we could produce fully flexible modules...
DelftBlue also uses SLURM for scheduling jobs. So on our end it should be perfectly OK to drop the feature.

I agree on this, particularly when combined with #604. `tech_class` makes sense to me, but maybe there is a better name...
I actually like `class` because it makes sense in terms of inheritance / behavior... `group` is problematic because it can be confused with subsets of a dimension. `parent` is fine...
I vote for templates!
