@fmauch I think a merge in the branch will be hard to rectify in the future, or at least be ugly in the commit history Maybe we should just wait...
renaming a package on github isn't a big deal because the old name will auto-redirect to the new name, even during ``git clone`` +1

why not submit a PR to the original repo to fix the issue, rather than use clunky zip files? that is the point of Github...
@shaun-edwards no I have not used this. I'm using the ur5_robot_model included in [roscon_2015](https://github.com/ros-industrial-consortium/roscon_2015/) demo. This looks like it would be a nice cleanup though
