Hi @dharanikumar-19, thanks for this PR. Are you able to rebase and add tests for the change?

I guess JSON.parse is used here: https://github.com/voxpupuli/metadata-json-lint/blob/master/lib/metadata_json_lint.rb#L85 are you able to provide a fix for this? Or add a test that fails?

Sadly the tests are a bit flaky in this module :(

@shaneshort it has some merge conflicts and the tests don't pass, we cannot merge it this way. I don't know how to fix them :(
