T1M also crashes for me when taking .PNG format screenshots of the edios screen and all startup FMVs. It doesn't crash when I take screenshots in .JPG format instead.

I wonder if using a texture pack would be the answer to this issue, but that depends on #347 getting done first. I read [here](https://trtranslationsworld.wordpress.com/author/suikazeraider/) that the correct roof texture...

@Richard-L Have you seen the collection of TR1 loading screens at this site: [https://core-design.com/goodies_tr1_loadingscreens.html](https://core-design.com/goodies_tr1_loadingscreens.html). There seems to be a set of screens without the 'loading' text overlaid.
