One possibility is previewing media files via MTP. However, it is not appropriate to uniformly disable previews because MTP may or may not support streaming on different devices.

So far, the latest preview doesn't have this crash.

I can reproduce this issue as well. But oddly enough, it doesn't reproduce when I enable debugging in Visual Studio.

Personally I am glad this feature is gone, because I frequently accidentally dragged the address bar and unintentionally created shortcuts.
