This is tricky and can only be fixed if I have the file in front of me.
That's temporarily until pdfcpu can sign docs. Stay tuned.
The intention behind this was gaining maximum speed for operations while accepting a bigger heap. There is definitely room for improvement.

This is intentional. The issue here is when merging PDFs of any version into a PDF 2.0 the result is also a PDF 2.0. That's easy.. What is the strategy...
