Does `--vf=format=gamma=bt.1886` make the red go away?
Can you try `--gpu-api=vulkan` and/or `--vo=gpu-next`?
What about `--tone-mapping=clip`?
Finally, what about `--tone-mapping=clip --vf=format=gamma=hlg`?
Doesn't seem like it can be narrowed down to something more specific than 'any HDR video', I guess. There's probably little we can do to work around it then, either....
Can you try `--tone-mapping-mode=rgb` vs `--tone-maping-mode=luma`? Does only one of the two produce the oversaturated shadows?
Does setting just `--vo=gpu-next --target-prim=dci-p3` roughly match the desaturated effect you're looking for? I think it might be due to a difference in how HDR metadata is applied. `--vo=gpu` ignores...
