The output of `ruby --version` is `ruby 2.0.0p481 (2014-05-08) [x64-mingw32]` which I believe is the most up to date patch of this version of Ruby Is that right?
I have just used a friends Mac, and I did the exact same test, and it worked on his machine without any problems. Looks like this is an issue specifically...

It would rely on people verifying themselves on other services, but then again, that is sort of the point, so chances are high that they will have done it.
