Ah! I think you've actually found a bug! I think _started should be set to YES when the group starts, otherwise it can be run multiple times!

No need to commandeer, I'm happy to review (sorry this took me so long to look at, my notification queue fell off the first page :( )

Has anyone seen this affecting performance or cache hit rates? Do you all have a way to reproduce it?

The history behind it not being in the PINCaching protocol is there was no clean way to keep the existing API. All the other methods matched one to one in...

The way the project is currently setup it required (see the failure in the test and analyze steps on PINOperationQueue.h)
