@dhinf Sorry it took me some more days, but strided multidimensional views seem to be stable now and can be used to implement halo packing. We should have a Skype...

State in commit c170d7c is stable, now fixing `dash::transform`, changes in PR #398 are merged and rewritten using views.

This seems to be caused by a bug in a pattern, will fix it in a separate issue and retest this defect.
