Please provide your carrier version string. This can be found in Settings -> Network and Internet -> SIMs -> Carrier version.
It's possible that this is due to the IMS stack always having RTT support enabled, irrespective of the RTT accessibility toggle. https://github.com/GrapheneOS/carriersettings-extractor/pull/16 might fix this partially.
And also as a sanity check, please make sure RTT is 100% disabled in Settings.
Should be fixed in 13.

It seems that https://html.duckduckgo.com does not implement OpenSearch which is likely the cause of it not being picked up by Vanadium.
Using 3rd party mbn files isn't supposed to be possible. We aren't going to ship them and it's not relevant to this.
You quite literally aren't supposed to be able to do it. It's a bug if it's even possible. It's not something that can be reasonably considered to be production suitable.
This may instead turn into an option to have a SetupWizard screen to enable it, discussion needs to be had around this.
