How do we know if for the given pass `-i` is needed or not?
please use `bin/calibrate_full.sh` script - it will give you a quite accurate value of your offset.

Probably it would be easier to define (an optional) elevation in the satellite preference section (i.e., for each satellite you may want to define a separate elevation). This is doable....
