Do you get the same issue with other encoders?
So it looks to be the source and not the encoder. Can you try making a group of only that source and put the source record on that group instead...

I made a fix for OBS shutdown in version 0.4.0 can you test if that solves the issue for you?
I would expect the function name to be `obs_transition_is_active` instead of `obs_is_transition_active`, because it gets it for the transition and not global
Please provide an OBS crash report. You should be able to find that in the OBS help menu.
