Can you test if version 0.3.1 works?
OBS version 24 is not supported, because it uses the icons of the source toolbar which is added in OBS version 26
It should be something like move media-controls folder to ~/.config/obs-studio/plugins/

Opening the edit for a transition is not an option that OBS provides for plugins. Let me find a way to update the transition when the global duplicate changes.
can you test if 4582bad5ae68b281abc3b6277c4e18e553b629f3 works for your use case?
For now as a work around you can switch the transition of the DSK to an other transition and back to reload the transition.
this will be the same on all my OBS plugins as I use the same build steps for all of them
