This bug was likely introduced in GNOME 40 with the GTK4 migration - I'll take a look :slightly_smiling_face:
I think this is occurring because the shell is opening the windows for a split second in the upper left-hand corner then setting the proper position a split second later....
The latest version should support corners correctly in GNOME 41, I have to test the behavior in GNOME 40 for those still on that version.
