DPT predates the Shell's modifiers like `:overview`, instead it uses specific CSS classes. Assuming custom coloring isn't enabled... `dpt-panel-maximized` (maximized state) `dpt-panel-unmaximized` (unmaximized state) `panel-transparency` (used in the overview)

This extension does the opposite, it makes the panel disappear when nothing is maximized. If you mean changing the behavior for a single app, this extension used to support that...
