I don't think so. The deadlock is reproducible on MvvmCross 7.1.2. The issue have been here since [Adjusting startup behaviour commit](https://github.com/MvvmCross/MvvmCross/commit/e05502626c5e49baa7be9fdd1af5b30ed06b29df) when .ConfigureAwait(false) was missed.
