The conflicts were due to formatting changes for style, I went ahead and fixed the conflicts in the interest of keeping things moving.
This page had an update in #1478, which incorporated the requested changes.
This still looks ok to me from a writing perspective.

I accidentally overwrote while fixing the conflict and then fixed the changes - @eschabell, there's an example at the end that needs a newer code sample.
@eschabell I've fixed the conflict, the changes are generally minor. The section "Configuration example with multiple rules " needs a yaml example, I think. Otherwise this looks ok to me...
