Any updates to this? The workaround works, but that means having to search through thousands of changes instead of the 10-20 relevant.

I suppose a proper fix for this would be to split up requests for lots of projects into multiple requests.

You should try a newer build. Your version is over a year old.

Actually, it seems like a release was not made after that commit. Last release was i may, the issue was fixed in june. But you can download the .hpi manually...

Okay thanks. I'll do it in two steps then. Currently I'm working on getting the current master to work with the old version of Jenkins by defining specific plugin versions....
