It was a long time ago, but I think I ran into problems with large payloads and the sync cbor functions.

I did some tests and could find 2 cases where it returned undefined. * if the input is undefined * if the object has a toJSON method that returns undefined...

This PR does not seem to pass all tests, could you please have another look at it

There is no active development of the Compliance Tests. If you would like to contribute I´m open to merge pull requests.

Sorry, no there is no plans to add support for macOS at the moment. but feel free to submit pull requests or fork the project.
