CAPI deprecated?

16bafe93994517f6980d115adf42eed7fba6b4bb documented that CAPI is deprecated. Maybe should read "being deprecated" as my understanding is there are still dependencies on CAPI in core components. https://github.com/joyent/sdc-smart-login brought this to my mind.

dtrace optional?
