Yes, this is super annoying. It's likely caused by subpixel rendering (although we should be rounding it before render, so technically it shouldn't), and depends on where you happen to...

Just checked, and it's indeed caused by subpixels: |x: 600.5px|x: 600px| |--|--| |![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/5153846/80640759-2b894300-8a64-11ea-91cc-e13c2de1911b.png)|![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/5153846/80640764-2d530680-8a64-11ea-9712-ea0ec71c995b.png) EDIT: to be more precise, it's caused by an interplay of subpixel rendering & copying bitmaps from...

It's annoying. Note that it only affects in-app render. Exported output (PNG...) is not affected. Ideas welcome.

It's unclear what we can do about this, although currently we have anti-aliasing disabled, which may cause sharp edges on text — though it should help with blurry text. Sometimes...

This is actually by design. We could change it of course, if we think it adds value. Sadly there's no precedent for this beside tldraw, which does what we're doing....

Hello. It's very likely due to the fact we're using a `filter="invert(93%) hue-rotate(180deg)"` on the svg element to achieve the dark mode and the PDF converter likely doesn't consider it.

Sorry, don't have experience with svg → pdf. Maybe https://pandoc.org/ will be able to. If nothing works, it may come down to ditching the `filter` workflow altogether :(.
