What occurs if you are using Python 3.9 and this hasn't been fixed? I ask as I am able to install the plugin on 3.9.13 (aarch64) without any apparent issue....

I can replicate this with the Steam release and 1.19.1. Seems fine during gameplay, it's only when quitting.

Well, ideally Valve puts a setting in somewhere for whatever it is they think they need this access for. But I'll take what I can get.
