are you calling the version that is freely available on github? Try downloading the file and serving it yourself. Should fix your problem. Please close this issue.

This isn't actually a prototype issue it is a jquery issue both share the $ as a variable. In jquery.js add a line jQuery.noConflict(); then when you go to use...
