bxslider causes IE HTTPs Security Warning

Hi,

When I use bxslider in an https page, IE 8 pops up a warning with title "Security Warning" telling that the page tries to call a non-secure content in this (secure) page. Note that, when I remove the code for script call to jquery.bxSlider.min.js, then it does not give the same warning anymore.

How can I fix this issue by modifying bxslider javascript file or can you suggest any other solution?

are you calling the version that is freely available on github? Try downloading the file and serving it yourself.

I have the same issue, and Ioad script from my server via https. Can it be linked with this issue? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925014
