@Sam1970 If you have both work greate you are on a x64 OS and yes it works as IcedTea-Web is compiled for x64 This issue is for 32bit(only) OS.
This is not related, again, we dont speak about taking java x86 or java x64. We speak about javaws.exe wich must be a 32bit exe for a 32bit only OS.

The source error "Unexpected end of ZLIB input stream" seems not have been fixed in ITW in #602 .. just a workaround : use OWS I have the same error...
