Hey, sorry for the late answer. If the picker .exe would be signed, then yes I could add it to the Group Policy Exceptions. Sadly GPO-Editor doesnt like your signature....

I had a similar problem, because Edge is actually language sensitive. Our Windows is german, so we had to replace "Favorites Bar" with "Favoritenleiste" in the script. That fixed it...
