Could we have an option to reverse the slider. For example 1-24 could go 24-1 with values on opposites of the slider.
Latest branch does not generate Normals correctly on my mac. (have not tested on windows) i had to un-comment the top commented line in the (normal) shader for it to...

normal is still strange. will report back
Normal seem to generate correctly, but in editor the error is that the texture is not assigned as normal map.
I meant to post this image last.  To show that it does try to read the right pixels
