I think this issue comes from here https://github.com/quantopian/zipline/blob/master/zipline/data/us_equity_pricing.py#L139 The default behavior seems to be "warn" but I think that does not make sense for Volume since the major use cases...

looks like this is still an issue, is this project still maintained? If so, is there anything blocking the latest from releasing?
