Hi, the Ionic team removed all cordova plugins that could be replaced with capacitor plugins. This is why some plugins are missing.

I think this feature is more typical for ios devices because of the Apple Taptic Engine.

Im not able to reproduce this error without further informations. Can you paste your code how you resolve the image URL from firebase?

Be sure you disabled the macOS firewall. I had the same issues until I disabled it

Can you fix the merge problems? I merged the latest master from the original plugin into this fork.
