Sorry about that, I fixed this issue in the first commit of #96, but I can also separate it out into a different PR.

I think the best way to do this would be to omit minutes and seconds from the widget, since widgets are meant to be updated very infrequently (See updatePeriodMillis [here](https://developer.android.com/develop/ui/views/appwidgets))....
