Ah, so far the newest version published here `v1.22.4+k3s1` is working for me! Thanks so much for the suggestion!
this PR should probably wait until https://github.com/robotastic/trunk-recorder-configs/pull/2 is merged - maybe also we can get the example ones from this trunk-recorder repo in there at some point
