preliminary is in the search results, so this bug isn't fixed. (Though we know that searching for production isn't enough because that site is in production mode too)
This seems to be obviated by changes to move these into profiles: https://preliminary.istio.io/latest/docs/ambient/install/platform-prerequisites/ I'll close this PR for now, but please re-open (or create an issue) if there's something wrong...
