Sounds like you are using a version of UTM that does not have the virtual networking permission (entitlement). How did you install UTM?

I believe UTM's host key combo is option-command (aka alt-command; ⌥ ⌘). At least that is what toggles "capture mouse". Does that work for you? Or are you requesting another...
