Shared networking not working in a Windows VM

Describe the issue Shared networking no longer works in a Windows virtual machine. I tried network reset inside Windows but doesn't fix the issue. Also when I run troubleshoot, it says 'Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP connection.'

Configuration

  • UTM Version: 2.2.4 (36)
  • OS Version: Windows 10 Pro build 10.0.21354.1
  • Intel or Apple Silicon? Apple Silicon

Emulated networking seems to work fine.

The only thing I changed was UTM; with 2.x it was working, but other issues resulted in damaged virtual disks. After upgrading to 3.x, those other issues were gone, but Shared Networking stopped working too. Also experienced this on some macOS guest versions (but not all?!?) so it's probably not SPICE Tools related.
