I think there is a misunderstanding here. Having something GPLv2-only makes it incompatible with GPLv2-or-later, which would require every translator to relicense. There is nothing in LibreCAD that actually says...

The more obvious course of action seems to be to use Weblate. Lichess prides itself on being open and no spying. The translations I see now are awful.
