Feel free to assign this ticket to me. I don't have time to implement this now, but I would be glad to add an additional function to ledger.el called `ledger-sort-buffer-effective-date`...

The demo linked in the README returns a `503 Bad Gateway`.

I'd like to be able to install this in a custom location. Right now it looks like the installation location is hardcoded in various locations.

I attempted `make` and got back an error saying I was missing lusb-1.0. A quick search brought me to [here](https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?p=1166775&sid=741c82b486700efd486ff389748c5368#p1166775). I installed the recommended deps and was able to successfully...
