Experiencing same issue currently on the same versions. Had enforce-secure-profiles set to false on the server already but force-key-authentication=false on the proxy seems to have fixed it.
Well, in base Minecraft nothing is a projectile that doesn't need to be, really.
It really depends on where you start. Just give it a while to run.
Also took approx 1 hour 30 minutes on the n3ds, maybe even two hours.
The 3ds dsiware installer is taking about an hour so far.
