i add info: i have try to disable all FullText search addon and the problem do not appears. - problem temporarily solved - 
honestly it's really unusual that you can't rename simple group names... sometimes the project focuses on new big features but gets lost in trivial old things.
no news on this features? in 1.7.0 the autorefresh do not work
