I'd also like to see this on VS2022, since VS2022 lacks many features but sais it contains all features of this extension. see also #2634 and #2660

C++ generated code uses exceptions

This is by design. ANTLR CPP target heavily uses STL which also needs exceptions. What's the issue about a C++ code to use exceptions. I would not guess there is...
