+1 -- this is very problematic for readability of unit and integration tests, which end up swamped with the deprecation warnings.
I think `normalize-url` provides additional functionality to deal with slightly malformed IIIF manifest data, doesn't it? I don't think it's completely equivalent to URL.
Thanks @tomcrane; I think ordering is the source of my confusion, at least. On the Mirador call and previously, I think we've asked for additional direction or specification for this...

It looks like we've established a similar sort of button/action area in mirador-annotations already 🤞
I believe these are coming right out of MUI and could be customized by downstream applications using custom themes.
