Your demo seems to work for me - I think rawgithub is just a little unreliable - it's only designed for quick prototyping I think

a discrete filter first and then a continuous filter, causes the continuous filter not to display

Doesn't actually appear to be fixed...

clean up the ie8 hacks in the source
